Senior Full Stack Developer (Mauritius)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic senior full‑stack developer to join our fast‑moving startup team. You will help build a global SaaS platform that connects accounting systems (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) to a marketplace of financial services, enabling accounting firms to generate new revenue streams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the NavMav front‑end and back‑end, including API integrations.
• Design and implement solutions, research new products and tools.
• Manage stakeholders across sales, operations, technical teams, clients and third‑party partners.
• Provide production support, incident reporting, and continuous process improvement.
• Maintain development standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.
• Write system documentation, technical specifications, and create reports/dashboards.
• Perform testing (unit, regression, UAT) and ensure proper deployment to production.
• Write SQL queries, extract data, analyse logs, and handle database backup/restore.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant diploma in Information Systems or Technology.
• 8–12+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end multi‑tenant SaaS platforms.

Required skills

• TypeScript (full‑stack), Node.js, React and modern component‑based frameworks.
• ORM frameworks such as Drizzle or similar.
• Event‑driven architecture, message queues, Redis caching, WebSockets.
• Microsoft Azure cloud, containerised deployments, CI/CD pipelines.
• API‑first design, authentication & role‑based access control.
• Monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry) and observability practices.
• PostgreSQL or MS_SQL, relational data modelling, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, SQL jobs.
• SQL administration, backup/restore, and reporting/BI tools.
