Senior Frontend Software Developer

About the role

Netcash, a leading fintech payment solutions provider in South Africa, is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Developer to design, develop and maintain web applications that meet business specifications and deliver an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret business requirements into deployable, high‑quality frontend solutions.
• Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
• Ensure cross‑browser and device compatibility, fast loading speeds and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers, back‑end developers and stakeholders in stand‑up meetings to review project status, issues and client feedback.
• Capture development hours for capacity tracking and issue resolution.
• Provide technical input for documentation and training materials.

Required profile

• Relevant IT degree.
• 5‑10 years of experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, VB.NET and C#.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
• Experience writing SQL stored procedures and managing database schema.
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues quickly and work collaboratively.
