Senior Finance Manager - Management Accountant (Remote)

About the role

D2B, a B2B SaaS company scaling its operations and expanding internationally, is bringing its financial operations in-house and needs a seasoned financial leader to oversee the transition. This is a remote position for someone who sees accounting as a tool for strategic growth, working directly with executive leadership on acquisitions, cross-border operations and long-term scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the month-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and move these tasks from external consultants to an internal team
• Prepare and present consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports across multiple international entities
• Track and interpret SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn, CAC and LTV
• Provide budget-versus-actual analysis and explain the root causes of variances
• Manage the financial side of post-acquisition integrations and harmonise accounting policies across new subsidiaries
• Coach junior staff to build a sustainable internal finance team

Required profile

• Minimum of seven years in progressive accounting or finance roles, with a proven senior management track record
• Specific experience in a B2B SaaS or recurring revenue subscription environment, including revenue recognition standards and subscription billing cycles
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related financial discipline
• Able to work independently remotely, challenge bottlenecks and explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
