Senior Field Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Field Service Technician to deliver on‑site and remote IT support for a diverse client base. The role combines technical expertise with a service‑first mindset, ensuring reliable operation of networks, servers, and cloud services while building strong relationships with end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote support for a wide range of IT systems.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot UniFi networking equipment and fibre connections.
• Deploy, upgrade and maintain printers, multi‑function devices and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware and network issues.
• Administer physical servers and Hyper‑V virtual environments.
• Manage Synology NAS devices and Backup for Business solutions.
• Deploy and support Yeastar P‑Series, S‑Series and YCM Cloud PBX VoIP systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and security policies.
• Support Microsoft Azure environments, handling security and application management.
• Perform proactive maintenance, patching, monitoring and documentation of client infrastructure.
• Communicate technical information clearly to clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in desktop support, technical support or a similar role.
• Proven ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with a wider team.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, UniFi, Azure) are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service‑oriented attitude.
