Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and commissioning of medium and low voltage electrical systems. You will work on complex projects that span from concept to implementation, delivering energy‑efficient and sustainable solutions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop production, transmission and distribution of energy, focusing on efficiency and sustainability.
• Create safety and grounding systems for various industrial applications.
• Select appropriate electrical components such as transformers, generators, switchgear, motors and lighting.
• Analyse distribution and control system problems and devise flexible solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ATEX standards in hazardous areas.
• Prepare man‑hour budgets, customer proposals and quotes.
• Collaborate with customers during the conceptual design phase to translate needs into practical solutions.

Required profile

• Articulate, analytical team player with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in medium and low voltage installations.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• E‑Plan (or similar drawing package)
• Grid analysis software (E‑TAP, Caneco, Intelec, Simaris, EcoDial – at least one)
• ATEX standards compliance
• Selectivity, short‑circuit, concurrency and cable calculations
