Senior Cyber Incident Response Analyst (Cape Town or Johannesburg)

About the role

The Senior Cyber Incident Response Analyst will apply established methodologies to deliver incident response services for Integrity360’s customers. You will respond to cyber incidents, hunt for adversaries, conduct intrusion analysis, perform malware reverse‑engineering, digital forensics and provide cyber threat intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with customers, including face‑to‑face engagements when required.
• Manage multiple technical and operational issues simultaneously while maintaining clear communication.
• Apply ITIL processes to incident handling and escalation.
• Drive incidents to resolution, ensuring timely participation of all stakeholders.
• Escalate critical issues to senior management and C‑level executives as needed.
• Deliver proactive services such as compromise assessments and tool/technology recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in incident response, threat hunting and cyber security investigations.
• Ability to empathise with customers and explain complex technical issues clearly.
• Good judgement and initiative in resolving or recommending solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident communication best practices.
