Senior Business Systems Integration Analyst (Mine-to-Port)

About the role

Our client, a leading global mining house, is looking for a Senior Business Systems Integration Analyst to optimise the mine‑to‑port bulk commodity supply chain. This role focuses on business analysis and domain expertise, bridging enterprise SAP architectures with site‑level operational technology. The position is contract‑based until June 2027 and requires travel outside Gauteng.

Key responsibilities

• Map cross‑functional workflows linking logistics, finance, commercial and plant operations.
• Validate complex reconciliation logic for bulk inventory adjustments, covering tonnage, quality and value.
• Align enterprise SAP environments with site‑level instrumentation and telemetry systems.
• Author comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to connect business and IT teams.
• Lead change‑management activities, including user readiness, system training and post‑implementation adoption.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in heavy industrial or mining environments.
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP integration across Logistics, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, process design and systems integration analysis.
• Familiarity with logistics systems such as weighbridge software, LIMS or bulk instrumentation (desirable).
• Solid grounding in modern delivery frameworks like Agile, Scrum or DevOps.
