Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will design functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing buildings and spaces for Domus Design Associates Ltd. This role translates client needs into practical design solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs that are functional, safe, sustainable and visually appealing.
• Interpret client requirements and convert them into detailed design solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Relevant NQF Level 7 qualification in Architecture with at least 5 years of experience, OR NQF Level 8 qualification with 3+ years of experience.
• Registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP).
• Fluency in both Afrikaans and English.
• Proven ability to manage several projects at once.
