Project Planner – Scheduling & Coordination

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner / Scheduler to support our client’s project in Rustenburg. You will develop, maintain and monitor project and workshop schedules, ensuring that all activities across production, procurement, engineering and other departments stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project and workshop schedules.
• Coordinate activities across production, procurement, engineering, and project teams.
• Track manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required to meet deadlines.
• Identify schedule deviations, assess risks and assist with recovery plans.
• Provide accurate progress reports and updates to management.
• Attend planning and progress meetings and maintain comprehensive planning records.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Production Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in planning and scheduling.
• Experience in steel fabrication, construction or mining is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
