Scullery Assistant – Kitchen Cleaning

About the role

Join Hollywoodbets' Purple Team as a Scullery Assistant, responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen environment in a busy restaurant setting. This onsite position is based in Springfield Park, KwaZulu‑Natal, and offers the chance to work within a fast‑growing hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly.
• Hand‑wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans.
• Wipe down worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and defrost freezers.
• Clean cold rooms and ensure all equipment is free of residue.
• Store clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in designated areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in a tidy condition.
• Clean garbage cans using water or steam and manage waste segregation.
• Collect and dispose of trash in designated containers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or scullery duties.
• Ability to follow systematic cleaning processes to prevent damage or loss.
• Willingness to wear Hollywoodbets‑provided PPE at all times.
• Reliability and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
