Sales Solutions Specialist - Security Solutions

About the role

Fidelity Services Group is hiring a Sales Solutions Specialist in Midrand, Gauteng, on a permanent basis. The role identifies and secures new business for security solutions, performs risk assessments to match client needs with the group's offerings, and prepares and presents proposals. It covers guarding, electronic security systems, monitoring, armed response, bicycle patrols, CCTV, access control and electric fencing.

Key responsibilities

• Sell bespoke security solutions to residential and small commercial clients and drive technical revenue
• Identify new business through leads, prospecting, networking and cold calling
• Build relationships with developers of housing estates and commercial complexes and attend their operational meetings
• Perform site surveys, prepare quotes and present proposals; conduct after-sales site visits
• Produce basic and comprehensive risk assessment reports and yearly reviews, and integrate findings into presentations
• Maintain the sales pipeline, report leads and growth to the Head of Sales, and give feedback on competitors and trends
• Work with suppliers, contractors and the legal department to set site-specific SLAs and operating procedures
• Promote the company at sponsored events and networking activities

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) minimum, with a marketing diploma or degree advantageous
• 4+ years' sales experience preferred, with customer solution sales experience ideal
• Previous alarm and/or security guarding sales experience with a good track record
• Compulsory: drivers licence, own reliable vehicle, and valid PSIRA Grade C
• Knowledge of the guarding industry, electronic security systems and risk assessment fundamentals
