About the role
Pepkor Lifestyle is advertising an entry-level, part-time Salesperson position within its Incredible Connection division at the Mall of Africa in Midrand, Gauteng. Incredible Connection sells consumer electronics, computing products and related accessories. The role combines customer service, sales, product knowledge, merchandising and cash and credit administration.
Key responsibilities
- Sell products to customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable products
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Contribute to sales budgets, targets and income objectives
- Carry out cash and credit administration in line with company policy
- Take part in merchandising activities that present products attractively
Required profile
- Grade 12
- 7-12 months of sales experience, preferably in retail
- Teamwork, communication, interpersonal skills, initiative, self-motivation and emotional maturity
- Ability to stay professional and focused under demanding customer interactions
