Sales Representative – Gauteng

About the role

Our client, South Africa's leading workshop equipment supplier, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their growing team in Midrand. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Director, you will travel extensively across Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo to service existing accounts and develop new business.

Key responsibilities

• Visit a minimum of 15 shops daily, spending four days a week out of the office.
• Maintain and grow relationships with current customers in service centres, dealerships and tyre businesses.
• Promote and sell the full range of workshop equipment products and services.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in the region.
• Prepare detailed specifications and quotations for clients.
• Complete call reports, track orders and log daily activity in the company system.
• Provide customers with all necessary product documentation, such as brochures.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of all relevant administration.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven sales experience in hydraulics, pneumatics or electrical industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaic (Afrikaans essential).
• Strong negotiating ability, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Presentable, well‑groomed, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and Grade 12 qualification.
