Regional Aftersales Manager

About the role

The Regional Aftersales Manager acts as the OEM’s critical link to the dealer network, ensuring after‑sales operations meet brand standards and that customer complaints are resolved swiftly. This role supports service, parts and warranty performance to drive sales growth and expand the dealer footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular dealer visits and audits to monitor compliance with OEM after‑sales standards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage escalation of customer complaints, investigate root causes, and ensure fast, fair resolution while tracking SLA performance.
• Monitor dealer after‑sales KPIs (service uptake, parts sales, warranty claims, NPS, workshop efficiency) and provide coaching to improve performance.
• Review and validate warranty claims, liaise with dealers and OEM warranty teams, and escalate technical issues to head office.
• Prepare regular regional performance reports, flag competitor activity, market risks and opportunities.
• Support network growth by assessing after‑sales readiness of prospective dealers and assisting with facility and process setup.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Automotive Management, Mechanical Engineering or related field (National Diploma minimum; degree advantageous).
• 5–8 years’ experience in an automotive dealership or OEM environment, with at least 3 years in a service/parts/after‑sales management or regional support role.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with dealer management systems (DMS).
