Sales Consultant – Payment Solutions (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Consultant to drive new business for our payment technology platform. The role focuses on acquiring South African merchants for our secure transaction, collection, and mobile commerce solutions, and can be performed entirely from home.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential payment merchants across South Africa.
• Develop deep product knowledge of our payment solutions within the National Payments System.
• Track sales activities, manage pipeline, and deliver regular reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
• 3‑4 years of experience selling payment solutions.
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, present, negotiate and close deals.
• Track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
