Rules and Tariffs Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Rules and Tariffs Consultant to join Bestmed Medical Scheme in Pretoria. In this role you will work closely with the Tariff and Rules Master to ensure that all tariffs and business rules are accurately loaded and maintained in our administration system, supporting updates and changes while guaranteeing data integrity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Load and validate tariffs and business rules in the administration system.
• Maintain and update tariff and rule configurations as required.
• Support the implementation of rule and tariff changes.
• Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with organisational standards.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve efficiency and achieve departmental targets.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Diploma or degree in Business Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year experience in the medical‑aid industry.
• Minimum 5 years experience in claims processing.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with rules and tariffs.
