Rotational Pharmacist – Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

About the role
The NHS Grampian team is seeking ambitious pharmacists to join a Band 6 rotational programme based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The role offers exposure to a wide range of pharmacy disciplines across several hospitals in Aberdeen, supporting the development of a comprehensive clinical skill set.
Key responsibilities
- Rotate through medicine, cancer, surgery, paediatrics, aseptic dispensing, medicines information, dispensary, radiopharmacy and quality assurance departments.
- Participate in the on‑call rota after an initial settling‑in period, with training provided.
- Contribute to the delivery of pharmacy services in newly built facilities such as the ANCHOR Centre and the Baird Family Hospital.
- Engage in post‑registration foundation training and continuous professional development.
Required profile
- Qualified pharmacist or foundation pharmacist in training due to qualify July/August 2026.
- Motivated, ambitious and willing to work within an on‑call schedule.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Aberdeen.
