Revit Designer/BIM Technician – Stellenbosch

About the role

We are looking for a Revit Designer/BIM Technician to join our new design studio in Stellenbosch. The role supports a globally recognised design firm that creates wayfinding and signage solutions for high‑profile property and hospitality projects worldwide. The successful candidate will work closely with local and international teams to deliver BIM models from concept to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop signage and wayfinding solutions using Revit.
• Produce signage location plans in AutoCAD and Revit, including tagging, content creation and bills of quantities.
• Assist in developing wayfinding strategies and create message schedules.
• Integrate Rhino models into BIM Revit models and coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines.
• Prepare general arrangement drawings for signage designs.
• Manage BIM model integration, coordination and clash detection throughout project lifecycles.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with local and international project teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in BIM/Revit modelling.
• Experience with clash detection and BIM coordination.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
• Autodesk Professional Certification (required).
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and professional conduct.
