About the role

Satāya is representing a celebrated luxury farm estate in the Cape Winelands, seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead front‑of‑house operations across its dining venues. This hands‑on role requires a visible leader who sets the service tone, ensures seamless guest experiences, and upholds the estate’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead front‑of‑house teams across all restaurant outlets, handling rostering, training, and performance management.
• Maintain high service standards, oversee reservations, floor management, and guest communication.
• Collaborate with kitchen and senior management to align service with seasonal menus and culinary programmes.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, stock control, supplier relationships, and administrative tasks.
• Coordinate shift patterns to cover weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.

Required profile

• Proven front‑of‑house management experience in fine dining, luxury hotels, or premium wine estates.
• Natural leader who can coach, inspire, and remain present on the floor.
• Passion for food and wine with strong guest‑facing skills and emotional intelligence.
• Well‑organised with a practical approach to rosters, stock, and daily operations.
