About the role

The company seeks a Safety and Health Manager to lead its Occupational Safety, Health and Environment department. The role is strategic, reporting directly to senior management and shaping safety culture across construction and pavement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and continuously improve safety, health and environmental policies and strategic plans.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards and internal requirements.
• Supervise internal and external audits, inspections and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and support technical safety and environment teams across sites.
• Promote awareness campaigns and foster a strong safety and environmental culture.
• Manage incidents, corrective measures and preventive programs.
• Monitor performance indicators, prepare reports and advise management.

Required profile

• University degree or relevant technical training in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environment or related fields.
• CAP of Senior Technician in Occupational Safety (Level VI) and CAP of Trainer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety, health, environmental management and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental legislation.
• Proven experience in risk management, audits and integrated management systems.
• Leadership experience coordinating technical teams.
• Excellent planning, organization and technical reporting abilities.
• High sense of responsibility, rigor and result orientation.
