Resource Compliance Consultant – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Compliance Consultant to join a fast‑growing UK education recruitment company. Based remotely in South Africa, you will initially manage the end‑to‑end compliance process for teachers, teaching assistants and SEN specialists placed in UK schools, with a clear pathway to move into a Resourcer role.

Key responsibilities

• Manage candidate compliance for UK education placements, ensuring DBS and safeguarding standards are met.
• Verify right‑to‑work documentation and validate employment history.
• Chase references, maintain accurate CRM and compliance records, and liaise with candidates to complete documentation efficiently.
• Collaborate with UK consultants to meet placement deadlines.
• After mastering compliance, transition to a Resourcer role: source teachers and SEN professionals, conduct screening calls, build talent pipelines, match candidates to vacancies, coordinate interviews and develop long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Previous experience in education recruitment or compliance.
• Exceptional organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Comfortable working UK hours from South Africa.
• Ambition to develop a career in recruitment.
