Reservations Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an organised, professional and customer‑focused Reservations Manager to join an established luxury holiday rental and property management company. The role involves managing the full reservations process and delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximising booking opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete reservations workflow from initial enquiry to booking completion and close‑out.
• Prepare quotations, follow up enquiries and convert prospects into confirmed reservations.
• Coordinate booking confirmations, rental agreements and guest correspondence across multiple platforms.
• Maintain accurate availability calendars and reservation records.
• Provide professional guest support before, during and after stays, handling enquiries and escalating issues when necessary.
• Liaise with finance on payments, deposits and outstanding balances.

Required profile

• Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, holiday rentals or guest‑service administration.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple bookings and administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Matric certificate, valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite and participate in after‑hours, weekend and public‑holiday standby.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with booking systems and calendar synchronisation across multiple platforms.
• Familiarity with task‑management platforms and AI tools.
• Knowledge of Asana, Mailchimp and Sage (advantageous).
