About the role

Route Recruit is recruiting experienced, professional waiters on behalf of a premier luxury hotel in the Cape Town CBD. The position is full-time with shift work, and suits people with proven food and beverage experience, a passion for high-standard customer service and the flexibility to work shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional table service and guest hospitality in line with luxury hotel standards.
• Take orders accurately, present food and beverage menus and make informed recommendations.
• Keep dining and service areas clean, presentable and properly prepared.
• Handle guest requests and queries promptly and professionally.
• Work with kitchen and front-of-house teams to keep service flowing smoothly.

Required profile

• Verifiable previous experience as a waiter; hospitality or hotel background preferred.
• Based in or able to easily commute to the Cape Town CBD.
• Comfortable working shift patterns, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Neat presentation and a customer-focused attitude.
