Renal Technologist

About the role

A vacancy exists for a Renal Technologist at Life Midmed Hospital, reporting to the Unit Manager. The role offers the challenge of working in a dynamic, high‑tech healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide both acute and chronic dialysis treatments to patients within the framework provided.
• Assist the hospital to meet quality patient‑care requirements, ensuring compliance with HPCSA regulations, relevant legislation, ERD and health‑care policies.
• Maintain high professional standards within the Renal unit.
• Conduct all renal functions as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in renal technology (Diploma/B Tech) and registration with the HPCSA.
• Experience with acute and chronic dialysis treatments in ICU and High Care settings.
• Passion for patient needs, willingness to work flexi‑hours and on‑call system.
• Valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel.

• Ability to operate various dialysis machines and models.
