REMS Consultant – Intermediary Services (Bellville)

About the role

The REMS Consultant supports SanlamConnect by handling a wide range of enquiries from intermediaries, management and support staff. You will ensure accurate contracting, remuneration, fund and scheme administration while meeting quality and timeline expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming email and telephone requests from intermediaries regarding contracts, commissions, and replacements.
• Capture and update information in internal systems, perform calculations, investigate errors and apply corrections.
• Maintain compliance with business rules and legislative standards.
• Achieve production, quality and SLA targets while developing and improving related processes and policies.
• Liaise with SanlamConnect staff, external partners and institutions to resolve non‑standard requests.
• Execute bookkeeping and account reconciliation tasks when required.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12; tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) is advantageous.
• At least 2 years experience in a broker, advisor channel or policy services environment.
• Strong organisational skills, resourcefulness and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
