Treasury Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and commercially minded Treasury Accountant to join our finance team in Cape Town CBD. The role manages treasury, banking, cash‑flow forecasting, payment processing, reconciliations and treasury reporting, ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances, prepare cash‑flow forecasts and manage funding requirements to maintain liquidity.
• Administer banking relationships, open and maintain accounts, and control banking access and mandates.
• Process payment runs, oversee deposits and withdrawals, and coordinate treasury funding with operational teams.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, reconcile payment provider accounts and resolve differences.
• Produce daily cash position reports, treasury reporting packs and support month‑end/year‑end reporting.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, support internal and external audits and maintain strong controls over banking and payment processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field; treasury qualification advantageous.
• 3–5 years of experience in treasury, finance or accounting, preferably in iGaming, fintech or payments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple bank accounts, payment providers and cash‑flow forecasting.
