Remote Sourcing Specialist (Recruitment Consultant)

About the role

Pear Tree is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join its team in a fully remote role. The position is open to South African candidates working during SA business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM SA time. You will identify and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and talent databases, working closely with the recruitment team to understand hiring needs, build talent pipelines and find candidates who match clients' requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and engaging candidates on Workable and other platforms with targeted searches for current and upcoming needs
• Outreach, pre-screening conversations and resume reviews to assess fit, interest and qualifications
• Maintaining accurate candidate profiles and pipelines in the ATS
• Collecting and managing candidate materials such as introduction videos, portfolios and assessments
• Tracking the completion of candidate assessments
• Working with recruiters to move candidates through the early stages of hiring

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in talent sourcing or recruitment, preferably in an outsourcing or offshore staffing environment
• Experience with an IT service-based business; Microsoft industry experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience sourcing candidates on LinkedIn, job boards and other platforms
• Strong communication and people skills, with confidence in outreach and screening
• Highly organised, able to manage several sourcing pipelines at once
• Basic familiarity with typing assessments and candidate evaluation methods

What we offer

• Base salary of ZAR 9,240 to 10,560 per month
