Remarketing Sales Specialist - IT

About the role

Our client, South Africa’s leading asset rental company, is seeking a Remarketing Sales Specialist focused on IT equipment. The role centres on generating maximum income from returned assets through unit and short‑term rental sales, while optimizing residual recovery and profit.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales and short‑term rental of returned equipment, meeting profitability targets.
• Manage available sales stock and identify target sales channels.
• Establish and grow client relationships across market segments.
• Expand the online customer base and ensure a first‑class customer experience.
• Grow the partner network and drive sales throughput.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives to boost sales.
• Coordinate delivery of units to customers.
• Leverage internal and external digital platforms to drive sales.
• Report weekly sales performance and objectives to business leaders.

Required profile

• Proven sales track record with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to translate customer needs into business objectives.
• Intermediate accounting knowledge and financial acumen.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and self‑management skills.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, laptop specifications, and IT asset management.
• Project management experience and familiarity with company systems and processes.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
• Matric qualification; a university degree or diploma in IT asset management is an advantage.
• Demonstrated capability in selling to companies and state‑owned enterprises.
