Sales & Customer Associate – Rustenburg Mall

About the role

homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer with over 40 years of experience. The Sales & Customer Associate works on the showroom floor of Rustenburg Mall, delivering an exceptional in‑showroom experience and converting customer visits into sales through product demonstration, needs analysis and accurate order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers, understand their needs and convert interactions into sales while meeting individual targets.
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, pricing and promotions in line with the current catalogue.
• Guide customers through the full journey – selection, ordering, payment and after‑sales support.
• Capture orders, documentation, payments, refunds and credits accurately and maintain compliant records.
• Support basic stock handling, floor replenishment and uphold visual merchandising standards.
• Adhere to cash‑handling, compliance and quality procedures and report any risks.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve showroom targets and support promotions.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in a target‑driven environment.
• Customer‑facing sales experience with a strong service mindset.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience is advantageous.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
