Regulatory Specialist

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join its Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability (PACS) team. The role focuses on leading regulatory advocacy and compliance across the organisation, influencing policy, managing submissions and mitigating regulatory risk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute CCBSA’s regulatory advocacy agenda, identifying and influencing policy and legislative developments.
• Analyse emerging legislative, regulatory and socio‑economic trends affecting the beverage sector.
• Formulate evidence‑based company positions on strategic regulatory issues and translate them into commercial and operational implications.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions, licensing applications and maintain accurate records of permits and compliance reports.
• Provide strategic regulatory advice across the value chain and support internal alignment on advocacy positions.
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives and implementation projects.

Required profile

• Experience in regulatory advocacy, policy analysis or compliance within a large consumer‑goods environment.
• Ability to assess legislative impacts and develop risk‑mitigation plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with policymakers, regulators and internal business units.
