Registered Nurse – Paediatric & Adult Home Care

About the role

Complete Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate, reliable Registered Nurses to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care in patients’ homes across South Africa. Positions are available for both paediatric and adult care, with a focus on specialised clinical procedures and independent work according to each patient’s care plan.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe and professional nursing care aligned with individual care plans.
• Monitor health status, record observations, vital signs and administered treatments.
• Administer medication and treatments within the authorised scope of practice.
• Provide specialised care based on clinical needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator management.
• Identify and promptly report any changes in a patient’s condition.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, healthcare professionals and the CHS clinical team.
• Follow infection‑prevention, safety and confidentiality protocols.
• Complete accurate clinical records and required documentation.

Required profile

• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) in the relevant category.
• Recognised nursing qualification.
• Previous experience in home‑based, private or specialised patient care.
• Knowledge of professional nursing standards and infection‑control practices.
• Ability to work independently and follow clinical care plans.
• Strong observation, communication and record‑keeping skills.
• Professional, dependable and compassionate approach.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts according to patient requirements.
• Clear criminal record and suitable professional references.
• Reliable transport or ability to travel to assigned patients.
