Registered Nurse – ICU (Critical Care)

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with ICU experience to deliver high‑quality, holistic care to critically ill patients. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to hospital standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic and specialised nursing care to ICU patients.
• Communicate patient status and updates to families and the medical team.
• Administer medications in line with ethical and legal guidelines.
• Follow internal policies, quality management systems, and infection‑control protocols.
• Advocate for patients, notify doctors of changes, and support case management.
• Manage stock, staff hours, and ensure equipment is functional and correctly used.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support SHEQ reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing degree and a Diploma in Critical Care Nursing.
• Proven experience working in an ICU setting.
• Strong customer orientation, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work flexi‑hours and on‑call schedules.
