Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (Theatre Scrub)

About the role

MHR is seeking a Professional Nurse (PN) / Registered Nurse (RN) with proven experience in theatre scrub within a Cath Lab environment. The role is based at a private hospital in Vereeniging, Gauteng, and offers full‑time, onsite shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care in accordance with the nursing scope of practice.
• Perform Cath Lab specific duties, including preparation of the theatre, instrument handling, and assistance during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
• Manage stock and equipment according to client policies and report any medico‑legal risks.

Required profile

• Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) licence.
• Immediate availability for placement.
• Post‑qualification experience in Cath Lab theatre scrub.
• Knowledge of cardiac care, related procedures and medications.
