Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary – ICU/Critical Care

About the role

The Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary (ENA) will provide essential nursing support within the ICU/Critical Care unit of a private hospital in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This part‑time position offers the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Execute duties in line with the nursing scope of practice.
• Deliver patient‑centred care in collaboration with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to legal and company documentation standards.
• Identify, prevent and report any medico‑legal risks to safeguard patient safety.
• Manage stock and equipment according to the client’s policies.

Required profile

• Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) licence.
• Post‑qualification experience in ICU or Critical Care is essential.
• Ability to demonstrate and assess relevant clinical procedures.
