Regional Sales Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leader in mineral processing, is looking for a Regional Sales Engineer to support growth in South Africa. Based remotely in Krugersdorp, the role involves frequent travel to mining sites in Limpopo and North West, providing technical support and ensuring optimal performance of vibrating equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients through daily site visits in Limpopo and North West regions
• Address client queries, resolve complaints, and assess needs
• Check spares stock levels and recommend purchases
• Inspect operation of products and provide advice to clients
• Assist with the compilation of quotations as needed
• Capture results of field tests and report accordingly
• Plan, manage, and coordinate field service activities with Head Office
• Assist with inspections and make recommendations
• Ensure installation teams maintain good housekeeping and comply with client requirements during installations
• Conduct site assessments, maintenance contracts, and design improvements

Required profile

• Matric and Certified Fitter or Boilermaker / Artisan
• Minimum 3 years working on or regularly visiting mining sites (non‑negotiable)
• Mineral processing experience
• Understanding of the mining industry and operations on a mine
• Knowledge of SHEQ and applicable health and safety legislation
