Senior Leisure Consultant – Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Leisure Consultant to join our dynamic travel team in Krugersdorp. The role involves creating and managing domestic, regional and international leisure travel packages for high‑net‑worth clients, ensuring a seamless and premium experience from quotation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and book flights, accommodation, car hire, transfers and complete travel packages using GDS and airline NDC platforms.
• Provide expert destination advice and product recommendations through online platforms and supplier networks.
• Assist clients with visa information and applications where required.
• Maintain accurate client records, issue vouchers and travel documents, and ensure payments are received before delivery.
• Achieve monthly sales targets, upsell where appropriate and maximise profitability on all bookings.
• Work collaboratively with the Team Manager and Head of Department, and handle after‑hours emergency shifts on a rotational basis.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and thrive under pressure.
• Willingness to adapt to company ethos and serve high‑net‑worth clients.
• Flexibility to work emergency shifts every 4‑6 weeks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS systems (e.g., Galileo).
• Experience using Air gateway and airline NDC platforms for ticketing and re‑issues.
• Strong administrative and queue‑management abilities.
