Regional Director Sales - Central Europe (CEUR)

About the role

Chainguard, a provider of secure, production-ready builds of open-source software, is looking for an experienced sales leader to act as Regional Director of Sales for Central Europe (CEUR). Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of Sales, you will oversee and motivate a team of Account Executives and drive revenue growth in the region. The role is based remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of 5-7 Account Executives, building a high-performance culture and supporting their growth.
• Develop and execute the sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets for the CEUR region.
• Design and improve onboarding and ramp-up processes for new Account Executives.
• Create accurate sales forecasts, manage territories and build regional growth plans.
• Set up, track and report KPIs to measure team and individual performance.
• Work with marketing, customer success, BDRs, sales engineers and customer engineers to align go-to-market efforts.
• Define strategies for acquiring and growing the largest enterprise accounts in the region.

Required profile

• Minimum of six years selling technical products; open source, DevOps or cybersecurity background preferred.
• At least three years managing and developing software sales teams.
• Experience with CSP marketplaces and selling to Fortune 500 companies.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and pipeline targets.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Existing enterprise customer relationships in the DACH region are highly desirable.
