Recruitment Research Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Research Consultant to own the full candidate side of recruitment, from sourcing and market research through to screening, interviewing, and relationship management. Working closely with our Recruitment Consultants, you will ensure only the right talent is presented for each client brief.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage job adverts across platforms such as LinkedIn, PNet, Indeed and social media groups.
• Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases, job boards and social media; identify and engage passive talent.
• Conduct cold calls to introduce roles, assess interest and fit.
• Screen CVs and conduct telephonic or virtual interviews to evaluate skills, experience, cultural fit and motivation.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, initiate compliance and vetting processes (references and background checks), and maintain accurate candidate records in Placement Partner (ATS).

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑4 years proven experience in recruitment, sales & marketing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the recruitment industry with a demonstrated ability to meet targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident and articulate.
• Strong planning, organising and administrative ability with a project‑management approach.
• Proactive, reliable, IT‑literate with good lateral‑thinking ability.
• Sales‑competent, resilient, accountable, solutions‑driven and a strong team player.
