Receptionist – Luxury Game Lodge

About the role

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests at a 5‑star game lodge in Hazyview. You will manage the front office, ensure smooth arrivals and departures, and deliver a memorable experience that reflects the lodge’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, complete check‑in/check‑out procedures and issue room keys.
• Verify reservations, payment details and allocate rooms according to preferences.
• Answer phone calls, emails and guest enquiries promptly and courteously.
• Provide personalised service, handle special requests (honeymoon, birthdays, VIP) and resolve complaints.
• Assist with reservations, update booking systems and coordinate activity schedules.
• Maintain accurate guest records, process payments and prepare daily arrival/departure reports.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Kitchen, Food & Beverage and Safari teams to ensure guest needs are met.
• Arrange airport transfers, shuttle bookings and provide travel information.
