About the role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and employees at Tharisa’s head office, providing a welcoming and professional experience while supporting daily administrative operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients and staff with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Answer telephone calls, emails and general inquiries, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Manage appointments, schedule meetings, maintain calendars and organise office supplies.
- Keep the reception area tidy, organized and reflective of the company’s image.
- Distribute incoming mail, packages and deliveries to the correct recipients.
- Monitor building access, issue visitor badges and follow security procedures.
- Provide information about the organisation and its services, assisting with general queries.
- Support various departments with administrative tasks and facilitate inter‑departmental communication.
- Operate and maintain office equipment such as phone systems and fax machines.
- Adapt to changing situations, multitask effectively and handle unexpected scenarios calmly.
- Manage boardroom availability for meetings and appointments.
Required profile
- Professional appearance and courteous attitude.

- Customer‑service orientation and ability to handle confidential information.
