Receptionist – full‑time at Bergen Airport Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Receptionist to join our team at a busy airport hotel in Bergen. The position is full‑time (100%) and involves a rotating schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a courteous and engaging manner.
• Handle check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Manage the central phone line and respond to all guest inquiries.
• Maintain a tidy and inviting reception area and lobby.
• Protect guest privacy and handle personal data confidentially.
• Ensure the safety of guests and the hotel premises.
• Promote and upsell hotel services and products.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Perform various ad‑hoc reception duties, including occasional bar service during evening shifts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar front‑desk or hospitality role.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and a team‑player who contributes to a pleasant work environment.
• Service‑ and quality‑oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
