Receiving and Dispatch Clerk

About the role
Epiroc is looking for a meticulous Receiving and Dispatch Clerk to keep its workshop running smoothly. You will be responsible for accurate receipt, inspection, storage and dispatch of parts, components and equipment, ensuring the workshop always has the right items at the right time.
Key responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, verify delivery notes, purchase orders and quantities.
- Inspect goods for quality, damage and correctness; report any discrepancies immediately.
- Prepare, package, label and dispatch outgoing items according to job cards and requisitions.
- Coordinate with procurement, workshop and logistics teams to guarantee timely movement of materials.
- Maintain orderly storage areas and apply FIFO or other stock rotation methods.
- Monitor stock levels, flag low stock or irregularities, and keep records up‑to‑date in the ERP system.
- Follow safety, quality and operational procedures, use PPE correctly and report hazards.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in a stores, receiving or dispatch environment.
- Experience in an engineering or workshop setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
Required skills
- Computer literacy with MS Office.
- Familiarity with stock management systems.
- Experience using an ERP system (advantageous).
