Supply Planning Manager

About the role

PG Bison, a South African leader in the decorative wood panel industry, is looking for an experienced Supply Planning Manager to join its Head Office team. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated supply plans that align demand, production capacity, inventory optimisation and procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end supply plans that balance customer demand with production capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product availability and minimise supply‑chain risks.
• Optimise inventory levels while supporting procurement and production scheduling.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust plans to meet strategic business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply‑chain efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply planning or supply‑chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Required skills

• Experience developing integrated supply plans.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory optimisation concepts.
• Familiarity with procurement and production scheduling processes.
