Quantitative Techniques and Mathematics for Business Lecturer

About the role

Eduvos is seeking an Independent Contractor to deliver Quantitative Techniques and Mathematics for Business modules on a part‑time basis at its Nelson Mandela Bay campus. The lecturer will join the commerce faculty, teaching undergraduate (and potentially postgraduate) students while supporting departmental administration as required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures on quantitative techniques, business mathematics, and related commerce subjects.
• Develop and update teaching materials, assessments, and course outlines.
• Provide academic support to students through tutorials, office hours, and feedback on assignments.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Assist with administrative tasks and departmental activities as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification (e.g., Honours or Master's degree) in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching quantitative or business‑focused courses at a tertiary level.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse student groups.
• Flexibility to work during normal business hours on a part‑time, contractual basis.
