Quality Engineering Architect – Securities & Lending

About the role

The Quality Engineering Architect will lead the design and implementation of quality assurance strategies for banking and finance software, focusing on securities and lending solutions. This role ensures that applications are robust, reliable, and meet regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a strategic vision for quality engineering aligned with securities and lending business needs.
• Design and maintain comprehensive QA frameworks covering test automation, performance, security, and compliance testing.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and product owners to embed quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the creation and execution of automated test suites for functionality, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on and implement best practices in continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps.
• Identify quality risks specific to securities and lending and propose mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular audits of testing processes and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to quality engineering teams.
• Ensure all activities comply with banking and finance regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality engineering or software testing within the banking and finance sector, especially in securities and lending.
• Strong understanding of securities and lending products, processes, and regulatory environments.
