Quality Control Supervisor

About the role

A leading cosmetics manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead QC compliance initiatives, ensure adherence to the highest standards, and optimise laboratory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily QC operations and supervise analytical laboratory staff.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22716, SANAS 1841, GLP and GMP standards.
• Perform and review HPLC analyses and support artwork review when required.
• Lead investigations, prepare analytical reports and maintain QMS documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and train team members on best practices.

Required profile

• Qualification in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or Food Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory within the cosmetics or pharmaceutical sector, including supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
