Quality Assurance Technologist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technologist will join Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa’s QA team, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, food safety and compliance with international standards across the company’s beverage portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform product quality and food‑safety testing in the laboratory.
• Conduct statistical process control, trend analysis and monitor key quality indicators.
• Manage non‑conformances, lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems such as FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 and KORE.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Support internal and external audits and quality inspections.
• Monitor HACCP and GMP compliance on the production line.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity.
• Provide quality awareness coaching to line staff.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in food science, chemistry, microbiology or a related field.
• Experience in a food‑beverage manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
