General Manager – Light Manufacturing & Sales

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven General Manager to lead a light‑manufacturing and sales operation that produces made‑to‑order sheet‑metal and plastic products. The successful candidate will act as an owner‑operator, overseeing all aspects of the business from strategy to day‑to‑day execution.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for business performance, including financial targets, commercial strategy, operations and company culture.
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Develop pricing, marketing and channel strategies to increase market share.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and manage procurement for raw materials.
• Oversee light manufacturing/assembly processes to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
• Manage financial reporting, P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow performance.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with sheet‑metal or plastic products.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitability.
• Ability to think and act like an owner, taking full accountability for results.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams including sales, procurement, logistics and HR.
