About the role
Rola Group is recruiting a Qualified Vehicle Technician for the Technical Department at Ford Caledon in the Western Cape. This permanent position is for technicians with experience in vehicle servicing, repair and diagnostics.
Key responsibilities
- Service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDIs).
- Complete repairs within allocated labour times and record work on job cards.
- Report additional repairs to the relevant team and perform quality checks and road tests.
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric and Trade Test or Red Seal qualification as a Vehicle Technician.
- Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence.
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician.
- Computer literacy and strong diagnostic/fault‑finding skills.
- Good problem‑solving, time‑management and customer service skills.
