About the role
Morgan Motor Group is looking to appoint a qualified technician at its Kimberley dealership. The main purpose of the job is to provide technical and diagnostic expertise within the service department and to advise colleagues on best-practice repair and improvement methods according to customer requirements. The position is full time.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and diagnostic work promptly as instructed.
- Advise and support colleagues on technical matters.
- Ensure diagnostic equipment is used correctly for vehicle examinations.
- Keep servicing within the manufacturer's target time percentages.
- Maintain vehicle care and safety standards while working.
- Make sure vehicles are returned to customers neat and clean.
- Ensure diagnoses lead to the most cost-effective and accurate remedy for faults or complaints.
- Complete job cards and vehicle details accurately before handing them to the Service Advisor.
Required profile
- Motor Mechanic trade certification.
- At least 3 years' experience as a technician in a dealership or workshop environment.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Clear criminal record.
